Well, almost any digital media will work, images, audio files, video files, presentation slides, documents etc. If the file has multiple pages, like a pdf of a photo album or scrapbook, we'll turn each page into its own slide.

Different account types may have restrictions on the length of an individual comment, but in all account types, the number of comments that people can make, is unlimited, even with Free Accounts.

The most important thing to tell them is that you want them to make an audio or video comment and that they they should practice a bit before they do. Here's a few very good places for any new VoiceThreader to practice their commenting skills:
